The code available in this directory is for reading the original Temperature Data Record (TDR)
files. Please note that we have reformatted the TDR data into BASE files, which contain all of
the data/information stored in the original TDR data files, but broken into orbit granules
which start/end where the ascending pass of the satellite crosses the equator and written in
a compressed NetCDF4 file with significant metadata.
