The rainfall products distributed
from this site are created using the
GPROF 2010v2 algorithm. The
gridded products are computed from the pixel level rainfall products
available via the
NASA PMM web site for TMI and the
NSIDC DAAC for AMSR-E. The SSM/I, SSMIS, and AMSR2 products are
unique to this site since GPROF is not run operationally on this data.
