The rainfall products distributed
from this site are created using the latest versions of the
GPROF algorithm. The
gridded products are computed from the pixel level rainfall products
available at the
GSFC DAAC for TMI and the
NSIDC DAAC for AMSR-E. The SSM/I, SSMIS, and WindSat products are
unique to this site since GPROF is not run operationally on this data.
